HENNA BROWS

Henna brows is a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the brows hairs, as well as the skin beneath the brows. The purpose is to create a natural look of fullness in the area, filling in sparse brows with a soft natural look.

Henna brow dye takes anywhere between 10 – 30 minutes to develop, depending on your skin and hair tone. The tint holds on the brow hair longer than an ordinary tint, and can last up to 3-6 weeks. Henna tint comes in a variety of shades, like brow tint, to ensure the most suitable colour is chosen to highlight your facial features and match your natural colourings.

Henna is a natural dye made from a plant known as henna, or the henna tree, making this a more natural and holistic choice for brow tinting.

FEATHER TOUCH BROWS

Also known as Microblading, Feather Touch is a form of eyebrow tattooing used to add volume, define and enhance the eyebrows with a natural-looking result. This option is suitable for anyone looking to fill in and transform sparse, uneven brows which may have been over plucked or aren’t naturally as full as they would like them to be.

A sterile, single use handheld blade tool is used to create hair-like strokes throughout the brow, paying particular attention to areas with gaps. The Feather Touch Brow Tattoo technique is intended to replace individual hairs, for a natural look. This technique is not suitable for clients who want a brows to look like they are penciled in or powdered.

At Mi Skn Aesthetics, we use a semi-permanent European (EU) grade pigment for all our Brow Tattooing techniques. EU safety standards have banned over 400 pigment ingredients that are still allowed for use in Brow Tattooing in Australia, America and China. As a holistic skin clinic, we are committed to using EU standard inks, as they are the safest in the world. In addition, the semi-permanent nature of our EU standard tattoo inks ensures that once the tattoo fades, the brows won’t appear to be pink or blue, as seen with most permanent tattoos.

OMBRE BROWS

‘Ombre’ Brows refers to a technique of eyebrow tattooing which results in a soft powder look, to resemble a tint or makeup appearance. This option is suitable for clients who already have a good amount of brow hair but just want more definition or anyone that wants to have a “make-up look” brows without having to use a pencil or brow powder every day.

A handheld machine using tiny single-use, sterile needles is used to create an outline of the brow, followed by shading it in. This technique can be as soft or bold as the client prefers, the tattoo artist will perform 2-5 passes depending on their preferred look.
