How Many AviClear Treatments Are Needed?

Most people need three 45-minute sessions, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Results continue to improve after the series is complete as your skin adjusts to reduced oil activity.

Your journey starts with a 30-minute consultation with one of our Registered Nurses.  They will assess your skin, discuss your goals and explain the treatment in-depth to ensure you feel empowered and ready to make the right choice for your skin.

2. Start Your AviClear™ Skin Journey

If you decide AviClear™ is the right choice for you, we will book all three treatments with your AviClear™ Nurse.  Treatments are to be spaced one month apart, to ensure we follow the protocol which has given best results in clinical studies.

Q: How Does AviClear™ Work?

AviClear™ uses the power of light to target acne at the source. This laser treatment use a 1726-nm wavelengh to selectively targets and normalise function of the subaceous glands. Along with hormomal balance, stress and gut health - overproduction of sebum is one of the known root causes of acne. Normalising sebum production will address a significant topical trigger, leading to better skin. As a holistic skin clinic, we reccommend combining AviClear™ with skincare, lifestyle and dietary adjustment and natural supplementation - for a comprehensive whole-health approach.

Q: How soon will I see results?

The timing of when visible improvements can be noticed will vary for each person.In a clinical study of 104 people who received a series of three AviClear™ treatments, 80% participants had at least a 50% resolution in acne three months after their final treatment. At six and twelve months after the final treatment, this figure rose to 87% and then to 92%. This is comparable to results timings observed with traditional pharmaceutical approaches.

Q: Who Is A Good Candidate For AviClear™ Treatment

AviClear™ is suitable for adolescents and adults with mild, moderate or severe acne.AviClear™ is not treatment that can be used to prevent acne in clear skin.

Q: Does AviClear hurt?

AviClear™ is a laser that is equipped with exclusive AviCool™ sapphire skin cooling and sensory control for safe, effective, and tolerable treatment experience. The AviClear™ treatment experience can vary for each client, clients reporting a pain sensation anywhere from 2/10 to 8/10. No topical pain mitigation (numbing) is used for the treatment.
