Here Are Some Frequently Asked Questions About Vasculyse Treatment:

Q. How does Vasculyse technology work?

A: The VascuLyse 2G uses a mild, safe current to remove small skin imperfections. Depending on the type of skin concerns, Vasculyse induces coagulation within the distended capillary, or dissolves a build-up of keratin, sebum or cholesterol under the skin. The body then absorbs the unused capillary or dissolved material.

Q. Is the treatment painful?

A: This non - invasive procedure is relatively painless . It uses mild currents that have been employed in the aesthetic world for more than four decades . Most clients find the treatment very tolerable and describe it as a quick "zing" or heat sensation, similar to a snap. It is generally less painful than waxing or laser.

Q. Are results permanent?

A: Treated capillaries or skin tags will not return. New ones may appear elsewhere.

Q. What are broken capillaries?

A: Broken capillaries are tiny dilated blood vessels visible through the skin. They become more common as we age and our skin loses its elasticity. Factors that can promote their formation are excessive exposure to the sun, drastic changes in temperature, alcoholic beverages, and hot and spicy foods. Once they form, broken capillaries will not disappear on their own, but they can be permanently removed by VascuLyse.

Q. How long do treatments take?

A: Vasculyse sessions are booked for 15-min, we will treat as much as we can during that time. Most conditions can be effectively treated in between one and three sessions.

Q. Is it safe?

A: The disposable, sterile stylus tips are used only once, ensuring your safety. The treatments are performed by our professionally certified registered nurses, who observe the strictest standard of hygiene. The down-time after treatment is minimal and the treated area will return to normal within a few days to four weeks, depending on the type and size of the concern treated.

Q. Do I really not need a consultation first?

A: Correct! For standard skin tags, ruby points, and milia, our Nurses can assess and treat you in the same appointment. However, if a spot looks suspicious, changes shape/color, or bleeds, we will decline treatment and refer you to a doctor for a medical check.

Q. Am I a candidate for Vasculyse?

A: Vasculyse is suitable for men and women of all skin types and colors.

However, we cannot perform the treatment if you:

- Have a pacemaker.
- Are pregnant.
- Are taking blood thinners.
- Have a history of keloid scarring (please discuss with us first).
- Have an active infection or inflammation in the area (e.g., the skin tag is red, swollen, or bleeding).

Q. Can you treat skin tags on my eyelids?

A: Yes. Because Vasculyse uses a precise current rather than a laser or scalpel, we can safely treat milia and skin tags very close to the eye area and on the eyelids. If you are unsure, please email us a photo to clinic@miskn.com before booking.

Q: Do you treat skin tags on the genitals?

A: No. For safety and hygiene reasons, we do not treat lesions, skin tags, or vascular irregularities on the penis, vulva, or anal areas. Bumps in these areas require a medical diagnosis to rule out viral infections or other conditions. Please consult your GP or a dermatologist for any concerns in these areas. We are happy to treat the surrounding general groin/bikini line area, provided the spot is clearly a standard skin tag.

Q. My skin tag is red and sore. Can I come have treatment?

A;If a skin tag is currently inflamed, twisted, or infected (red, hot, or crusted), we generally recommend waiting until the inflammation subsides before removal. Treating an inflamed area can increase the risk of scarring. If you are unsure, please email us a photo to clinic@miskn.com before booking.

Q. I only have one skin tag. Is the price the same?

A: Our minimum appointment time is 15 minutes ($125), which covers the setup, sterilization, and safety checks required for every client. In this time, we can usually treat 1–10 imperfections. If you only have one, we can use the remaining time to check your skin for other minor vascular spots or milia you might not have noticed!

Q. Will I have a scar?

A: Vasculyse is a non-invasive procedure designed to minimize scarring. However, a small scab or crust will form where the tag was removed. This is normal and necessary for healing. If you pick this scab, a scar may form. If you let it fall off naturally (usually 3–7 days), the skin underneath is typically smooth.
