Meet Francesca
Francesca Perino is a Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner (AHPRA Registration: CMR0001727209) and a lead clinician at Mi Skn Clinic. Since opening the clinic in 2010, she has focused her practice on TCM dermatology and skin health, managing inflammatory skin conditions through an integrative and holistic lens. Francesca holds a Bachelor of Health Science with Honours (Acupuncture) from Kingston University (London, UK), providing her with an academic foundation in evidence-based practice.
Treatment Philosophy
Francesca focuses her practice on the holistic management of acne and other inflammatory skin concerns by addressing underlying causes and internal triggers. She utilises TGA-approved Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional support, and evidence-based dermal therapies to improve skin health, prioritising long-term barrier repair over temporary fixes. Her approach is deeply collaborative, working closely with her internal team of nurses and naturopaths, as well as referring medical practitioners.

She has been featured as an expert contributor in major publications, including Vogue Australia, The West Australian, Wellbeing Magazine, and Australian Natural Health Magazine. Recently, she contributed educational content for "Beyond The Surface," published by the Advanced Nutrition Programme. Francesca is also the co-author of the Skin:Food book and the Six Week Skin Reboot Plan.
Francesca is passionate about enhancing collaboration between the aesthetic and complementary medicine industries. Her most recent speaking engagements include serving on the clinical expert panel at the AC Group Skin Summit in Sydney in July 2024. That same year, she was also a keynote presenter at the 2024 Business of Practice Conference for Acupuncturists, sharing insights from her 15 years in practice and her vision for a collaborative skin industry.
